I am picture happy tonight:) We carved pumpkins for FHE. Wes actually had the night off! I forget how nice it is to have Him home at night. I have to say I think that they turned out pretty good. Maddi and I carved "Franky"...that is the nickname he acquired as he was being created. Easton and Dad carved a cartoonized skull. Max and I carved a cat or better known as "kitty-cat". I am so grateful for my children. There is no better joy then watching your children grow up.
Wes's partner in crime! Weston did a static display at an elementary school here in the Boise valley. I always have so much joy watching Wes answer questions and the kids reaction to the helicopter. I took the kiddos to watch it take off along with one of my good friends little boy. Who is just to cute!
Weston landing at the Linder BLDG for the scouts. Weston and an other guy in our ward landed the aircraft at our church for the scouts. I think there were more adults there then children. Our old ward (3rd) came too. I miss them soooooo much. It was fun to see everyone check out the aircraft and the fly by's were sweet! If I could figure out our new camera I will download the video...chances may be slim...:)
This is Easton's 4th season with football and he is doing so well. He is really enjoying his team and coaches. My hats are off to all the men that have the patience to coach little 7 and 8 year olds. Impressive! Easton plays on the line at the end and running back. Forgive me for I do not know the position names:) But we could not be prouder and have enjoyed watching the whole team play. They are a great bunch of boys!
I no longer have a toddler. Max turned 4 this September!!! He started Preschool half a day and I am struggling with Him not home. It is lonely without the kiddos. I use to tease my Mom about her feeling bad after each stage of life we would grow out of. I have a better understanding now of her sadness but yet happiness. I am so proud of you Max and love you so much. You are a big ray of sunshine in our home and make our family complete. Love Mom and Dad!
An other school year has already begun. I say it all the time but I seriously can not believe that I have 2 in school. Maddi is a 1st grader and Easton is a 2nd grader. I dropped them off and as I was pulling out off of the school grounds a huge flood gate of emotions began to bust. I started to cry. I don't want them to grow up. I don't want them to move on. Silly to say at such a young age but I am dreading the day they leave.
Easton: During conference I told Easton that Daddy and I went to conference while I was pregnant with him. He was so excited ran over to Maddi and said I have been to conference. His excitement made me wonder what was going through his mind. He then later said "so President Monson is in Heaven to?!" uh ha moment for me. I proceeded to tell Easton that Conference was not Heaven telecasting down to Earth. He is alreay a Spiritual gaint. 4/5/09
Madisen: "Mom! Mom! Easton killed wormy, She was my best friend! She was old..." Half sincere I said "Oh no don't kill a worm! How did you do that?" Maddi said " Easton killed it by pulling wormy's tail off...!!!!" ((GigGlE)) 4/9/09
Madisen: I totally forgot that Easter is tomorrow. Life at the Bunnell house has been cRaZY to say the least. At Easton's football game I was reminded that tomorrow is the day the Easter bunny comes. So I decided that I would quiz Maddi and see if I could get away with not doing the Easter bunny thing. "Maddi what is tomorrow? Maddi: Sunday...duhhhh!!! Mom: When is Easter? Maddi: ummmmm sometime in May during Fall." ((LAUGHING)) No I am not the mean and the bunny rabbit is coming to visit the Bunnell kids tomorrow to. 4/11/09
Madisen & Easton: Today is Madisen's birthday and I decided to keep it sweet and simple. I went to Pauls Market and had Maddi pick out 3 balloons for her birthday. Not to my surprise she picked out a Frog balloon (non girly). They played with them all the way home and I started to cook dinner. I notice Max took them outside and poof gone. He let the balloons loose. There conversation made my heart happy...Easton: "Oh no Maddi your balloons." Madisen: "Don't worry Easton Heavenly Father will grab them on the way up." What a sweet little testimony they have and such great blind faith! 5/2/09
